EO marks Morton Feldman's centenary with two special works, Instruments 1 (1974) and Bass Clarinet and Percussion (1981), as well as Victoria Cheah’s It has only shelves (2024), written for EO, and Christian Wolff’s tribute to Feldman, For Morty (1987).

On June 3rd, Either/Or performs a rich program of solo and spontaneous ensemble works by Barbara Benary, Adrian Knight, John King, and Leroy Jenkins in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.
Bowerbird and FringeArts of Philadelphia present Pure Lucia – Night 2: Duende Otherness, a program of compositions by legendary Polish-American New York composer Lucia Dlugoszewski (1925 – 2000). Either/Or performs her 1965 work Lords Of Persia, a score created for the Erick Hawkins Dance Co.

The Atlas is an hour long concert work composed by EO Director Richard Carrick that is the result of a musical investigation influenced by the process of creating an atlas. Scored for string quartet and piano and featuring significant inside the piano techniques, it shows the composer’s own set of varied experience performing avant-garde, experimental, and improvised musics.
