Richard Carrick’s L'Algérie world premiere at Berklee

On Tuesday, February 20th at Berklee College of Music Either/Or will premiere Richard Carrick’s latest piece, L'Algérie, for extended piano, violin, cello, and oud, at Berklee's David Friend Recital Hall. Joining Carrick on piano will be Jennifer Choi on violin and John Popham on cello, and Berklee alumna Bahar Badieitabar on oud. As a followup to The Atlas, this piece continues extended piano possibilities while incorporating references to the composer’s maternal heritage through melody. The entire piece runs runs for 45 minutes and it is free admission so no tickets are required. Details here
